Ortolan buntin is a migratory bird that occurs as a breeding bird in most countries in Europe and western Asia as far east as Mongolia. The Ortolan bunting winters in tropical Africa and returning to their breeding areas from late April to early May. The bird mostly search for food on the ground and live mainly of seeds.
