Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cup raisins

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, molasses, and eggs until fluffy.
  3. Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in oats and raisins.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
